This is a fun, practical accent class designed to explore the differences between a ‘neutral’ accent and a ‘posh’ one. An excellent opportunity to practise and explore the English sound system, you’ll also be able to impress your friends with some posh expressions, darling! Start with POSH I, which covers the key sounds and intonation, then move on to POSH II – which contains lots of practice in dialogues.

Aim: learn key aspects of a posh accent and compare it to a standard GB accent.

Materials: 4 page course booklet with audio & activity sheet.

Level: Designed for high level 2nd language speakers of English.

Duration: 90 minutes (group) or 60 minutes (individual)
